Your Experience
All brides from initial enquiry will receive their very own log in to a portal unique to them which in return makes a much simpler and easier way of planning for you. This is where your quote will be and absolutely everything to do with your wedding would be going forward. It is a system where you can upload your inspiration photos, book your trial, see payment schedules and much more.
Trial & Studio
Launching in April 2024 is a purpose built beautiful studio for your trial. This is located in MK18.
Your trial is an opportunity for you and Lucy to get to know each other and go through different looks, trends and styles to match the theme of your wedding and your personality. If you already have some ideas for your make-up and hair, please have these photos or magazine cuttings ready, this is your opportunity to discuss these. Lucy will also make sure that you don’t have any sensitivities or allergies to any products she may use.
Your trial will last approximately 2 1/2 hours for hair and make up or 1 1/2 hours for either hair or make up. Depending on your chosen look and style Lucy can usually try a maximum of 3 styles (Hair) should you need her to, before it becomes over styled, although Make Up can be adjusted. Any members of your bridal party are more than welcome to join you for a trial if they wish. Please allow an extra time for each additional person requiring a trial.
Lucy is more than happy to make any tweaks or changes to ensure you are 100% happy and confident with your final bridal look. She will also go through all wedding day information making sure timings, addresses and any other information is all correct, and making sure that everything runs smoothly on the morning of your big day.
Your Day
On the portal a timeline will be uploaded so all the planning is done for you. The time you will all be ready for will be arranged at your trial. Each bridal party member will have their own slot on the timeline so all you will have to do is share this with them.
Lucy has a one wedding a day rule, unlike many Hair & Make Up Artists in the business, this is to fill you with confidence that you are her sole focus on your special day.
Lucy will travel to your location on the day and stay with you right up until you leave should you wish her to for any tweaks and veil placement if needed, it is her wish to send you up that aisle feeling like the most amazing version of yourself.

All products used are the best in this business, for Hair Lucy uses many top brands like GHD, Living Proof, Aveda, Kenra Professional, Bumble & Bumble, Cloud Nine, Schwarzkopf, and LOreal.
If your chosen look requires hair extensions Lucy is a Beauty Works extension professional. Many methods along with clip ins could be used if your desired hair style needs any extra hair. This would be an additional personalised cost.

Lucy’s Make Up kit is packed full of simply magic products, from brands such as Charlotte Tilbury, Chanel, High Definition, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Bobbi Brown, Tom Ford, Illamasqua, MAC and Nars.
